First soil beds ready for planting

During the two-week period from March 1-14, 2026, the Ruf Top Gardening project team completed the Rooftop Soil Preparation activity on schedule. We enriched soil beds with compost and organic matter, achieving the target volume of 10 cubic meters—ready to support 50 vegetable and herb plants. This milestone advances our goal of improving local food security in urban Asia. Budget utilization stands at 100% (soil: €500, compost: €200, tools: €100), with no issues reported. Next steps include seed planting starting March 15. Community members were trained on soil maintenance, fostering long-term project ownership.
