Ruf Top Gardening is a social-impact project that helps people reclaim the city skyline with plants. We support residents, schools, and organizations to turn empty rooftops into living gardens that produce fresh food, attract biodiversity, and create space for connection. Our approach is practical and accessible: you don’t need to be an experienced gardener to start, just a bit of curiosity and a roof that longs for green.
We begin with easy-to-use starter kits that contain everything needed to set up a first rooftop garden corner—soil, seeds, basic tools, and clear instructions. From there, we guide groups through planting sessions, helping them choose suitable plants for their specific rooftop and local climate. Together, we design gardens that are both beautiful and resilient, with herbs, vegetables, and flowers that can thrive in urban conditions.
